Before becoming a consultant and speaker, John was Vice President of Development and Chief Marketing Officer at Geologic Services Corporation, where he led and coordinated the company’s strategic marketing, business development, and growth efforts. Previously he co-created and founded the highly successful, private equity-financed venture Windward Petroleum, Inc., a consolidation play in petroleum specialty products distribution. John began his career with Exxon Company, USA as a petroleum geologist, regional environmental business manager, and specialty products sales manager.
John completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Texas at Austin, and earned his MBA from New York University’s Stern School of Business. He is an active member of the National Speaker’s Association, and a certified management consultant (CMC) with the Institute of Management Consultants.
John lives today with his wife Megan, and two of his five children, in Pepperell, Massachusetts.
